Sixth Water Creek

Just threw together a quick video of a recent kayak run I did at Sixth Water in Utah.  This is such a fun run, and I wish it stayed in for longer!

Hello!!

Hello all!  I have been meaning to start a blog for quite some time, and I finally decided to do it today!  I have a love for life and all that it offers.  I often find myself wishing I could live more than once because of all the things I wish I could do.  I find myself wishing I could spend years living next to a river and kayaking every single day--kayaking is one of the true loves in my life.  I have always loved my country and have on many occasions seriously considered joining the military in some form or another, but always end up finding other things I want to do that the military would inhibit me from doing.  I am a musician--a piano player and a composer mainly--and I would love to dedicate my life fully to that, but have never been able to convince myself that I could make enough money with it to support the family I hope to have someday.  I'm sure I will talk of more things I wish I could devote my entire life to in the future.

The last year of my life has been a roller coaster, to say the least, but lots of good has come out of it!  My blog is entitled "My Life until I'm 150 years old" because some things that I have learned about in the past few months have led me to believe that it really might be possible to live until that age!  The best part, according to the science, is that not only will we be able to live until that old age, but we will be able to be active until the day that we die.  None of this growing old, losing our mind, our wits, and living in some kind of home.  I want to be out enjoying life until the last day, and I believe I can do that!

So this blog's purpose will be to keep you up-to-date on how I am using this knowledge and opportunity to better my own life as well as those around me.  I love serving others, and I like knowing that I have made a difference in the world, especially in the lives of those around me.  The link below is a little sneak preview into what it is I'm talking about.  Enjoy!
